Four Storeys

In Four Storeys two men and two women in their thirties are lost in a void between the demands of corporate city life and their emotional and creative needs and desires. Ciaran is artistically hamstrung while Marie, a newly promoted marketing manager, works day and night. Chris battles to overcome the childhood influences of an overbearing father, while Katie strives to shake off the experience of a destructive marital relationship. The form of the play, through flash-back, repetition of dialogue and the phantastical appearance of the circus clown, supports the reality that our experience of life is non-linear, that consciously or unconsciously the mind perpetually returns to archetype and the defining moments of existence.
